"I'm sure that I will as well. After all we are in a room for people who are special. Right?" said Rex.

Six nodded. "That's right."

Rex nodded. "Six. Do you mind if I ask you? Why did you decide to teach here?" he asked. He knew that Aly was a mutant. He didn't know much of Black Knight. He was curious.

Six looked at Rex again before sighing. "I think that even mutants have a chance to be something other than freaks. My colleges were always debating about it, there were a few of us that believed that each of them had the chance to be free as normal but others...well you've seen how they have been treated."

"Yeah I've seen it." said Rex. "I may not remember much about my past, but I remember the way people treat my kind. I'm glad that there are humans like you that care." "Dad. Was mom a mutant or was I the first one?" asked Aly. She was curious and it hurt her to ask. She still was in pain over what happened.

Six looked at Aly for a moment before sighing. "I am not sure I'm afraid Aly, i believe that she would be since, I doubt i am one." he turned back to Rex. "Yes, there are some but not all."

"I know that. Yet I'm glad your one that does." said Rex. "I see. Dad, do you ever regret having a mutant as a daughter?" asked Aly. She was asking too many questions, even for her taste.

"No." he replied quickly to Aly. "I don't."

Aly looked at her father and gave a light smile. Rex continued reading the book.
